On the 7th, LG Electronics announced that it supported the Hangul Wall Project, which created the world's largest Hangul mural measuring 8 meters wide and 22 meters high. The Hangul wall was installed at the new building of the New York Korean Cultural Center in Manhattan and was first revealed on the 25th of last month (local time).
Artist Kang Ik-jung collaborated with the New York Korean Cultural Center to carry out the project of installing the world's largest public Hangul art piece, the Hangul Wall, at the cultural center's new building. The mural used 1,000 selected Hangul works gathered from around the world under the theme "What I Have Learned." Approximately 20,000 Hangul characters are inscribed on the wall.
LG Electronics not only created the campaign website but also developed programs such as a Hangul input tool and artwork generation software through talent donation, enabling the collection of phrases from around the world. LG Electronics reported that about 8.2 million people visited the website to participate in the project.
On the Hangul Wall artwork, LG Electronics conveyed its brand slogan message "Life’s Good" with the phrase, "If you take bold challenges with an optimistic attitude, life will get better."
