Yeoju City Hosts '2024 Yeoju Will Show You' Short-Form Video Contest
Gyeonggi Yeoju City announced on the 4th that it will hold the '2024 Show Yeoju Video Contest' to discover video content capturing the beautiful scenes of Yeoju with fresh ideas.
The contest, held from October 4 to November 11, is open to all South Korean citizens who can participate individually or in teams of up to four members.
The contest targets original works created during the contest period that have not won awards in other competitions, with each individual or team allowed to submit one entry.
The theme is free to express the charm of Yeoju (△ festivals △ tourism △ memories △ restaurants △ daily life △ experiences, etc.), and the video must be a vertical short-form video with a 9:16 aspect ratio, approximately one minute in length.
The city will conduct a first internal preliminary review in November on the submitted works, followed by a second evaluation based on originality, popularity, usability, technical skill, and completeness, and will announce a total of three winning entries.
In December, one grand prize winner will receive 2 million KRW, and two excellence prize winners will each receive 500,000 KRW along with a certificate from the Mayor of Yeoju. Additionally, the winning works will be utilized through Yeoju City's related social networking services (SNS).
Applicants wishing to participate should submit their video files and contest application forms via email.
