Gwangju City Sustainable Development Committee Holds Meeting to Discuss Revitalization Plans

On the 4th, Gwangju City in Gyeonggi Province held a meeting with the Vice Chairman of the Gwangju Sustainable Development Committee and the heads of each subcommittee to revitalize the committee.
The Gwangju Sustainable Development Committee is composed of 39 members, including ex officio members and privately appointed members, led by Chairman Mayor Bang Se-hwan, and consists of five subcommittees: Institutional Administration, Welfare and Culture, Climate and Environment, Future City, and Land and Transportation.
Last year, the city established the "Ordinance on the Establishment and Operation of the Gwangju Sustainable Development Basic and Council" to lay the institutional foundation and has been working to create conditions for member composition and chairman election.
In particular, the city organized the meeting to discuss ways to revitalize the committee through discussions with committee executives and to promote friendly relations and active communication.
