Applications for Outstanding Companies Accepted Until the 25th
Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam is accepting applications for the ‘2024 Outstanding Job Creation Companies’ until the 25th.
Eligible applicants are small and medium-sized enterprises with 20 or more regular employees whose headquarters or main factory has been located in Changwon since before October 1, 2021. Companies must have increased their workforce by at least three employees in the past year and have a growth rate of 5% or more. Eligible industries include manufacturing, manufacturing-related services, and certain knowledge-based service sectors.
The evaluation criteria include the number and rate of employee increase, the number of newly hired youth, Changwon citizens, and members of vulnerable employment groups, additional employment plans, turnover rate, implementation of work-life balance systems, and records of social contribution activities. After document screening and on-site inspections, the final three companies will be selected through a review by the evaluation committee in November.
The selected companies will receive a plaque and a signboard, as well as various incentives such as 10 million KRW in facility environment improvement funds, special support from the Changwon SME Promotion Fund, and a three-year deferment of local tax audits.
Companies wishing to apply should submit their applications in person or by registered mail to the Job Creation Division at Changwon City Hall by the 25th. For further details, please refer to the announcement on the city’s website or contact the Job Creation Division.
