The donation ceremony for the development fund was held on the 2nd at the 'College of Business Administration Hall of Fame' in the lobby of the General Lecture Building at the Bumin Campus, attended by Dean Choi Kyuhwan, Professor Yang Jaeho, and members of the Institute of Business Problems.
Professor Yang Jaeho said, "I hope this will be of some help so that students can be satisfied with their university life and focus on their studies," and added, "I will contribute to the development of the school with high-quality lectures and diligent research."
Dean Choi Kyuhwan stated, "I am grateful that the DAUist Gift high-value relay donation continues steadily with the support of many people," and added, "I will do my best for the development of the College of Business Administration."
Since its establishment in 1977, the Dong-A University Institute of Business Problems has been actively engaged in various public works, calculation of manufacturing costs, contract amount adjustments due to price fluctuations, and other academic research services. Notably, as a cost calculation institution, it was the first in Korea to conduct the calculation of private consignment operation expenses for sewage treatment plants, and it has been highly regarded nationwide for its excellence and reliability through participation in various government projects, including establishing long-term development plans for local governments.
At the end of August, the Institute of Business Problems invited 370 participants, including Dong-A University undergraduates and MBA students from the College of Business Administration, to hold the 2024 fall semester kickoff event at Sajik Stadium in Busan. The event, organized to promote unity and networking among members of the College of Business Administration, began with watching a Lotte Giants baseball game and included a crowdfunding initiative to promote mutual growth with the local community.
