Sharing Anti-Corruption Policy Achievements, Establishing Cooperation System
The Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education has joined hands with the Public Officials’ Labor Union to foster a consensus on establishing a culture of integrity in the field.
The Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education (Superintendent Ha Yoonsoo) held the "2024 Busan Office of Education-Public Officials’ Labor Union Integrity Practice Council" with the Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education Public Officials’ Labor Union (Chairman Song Eonyong) in the conference room of the office’s annex on the 30th of last month.
This council was convened to share the achievements of the office’s anti-corruption and integrity policies and to explore future directions for anti-corruption and integrity initiatives.
The meeting was attended by 16 people, including Kim Donghyun, Director of Audit, officials from the Office of Education, Chairman Song Eonyong, and union members.
They discussed various measures to foster an anti-corruption and integrity culture, including: ▲sharing the 2024 anti-corruption and integrity policy achievements of the Busan Office of Education ▲sharing the results of efforts to eradicate workplace abuse in 2024 ▲establishing joint response measures between the Office of Education and the union regarding workplace abuse ▲exchanging mutual development plans to enhance integrity ▲and launching integrity culture activities together with the Office of Education and the union.
Based on the discussions at the meeting, they also agreed to build a cooperative system between the Office of Education and the union to enhance integrity and eradicate workplace abuse, and to join forces in promoting anti-corruption and integrity policies.

Kim Donghyun, Director of Audit at the Busan Office of Education, said, “This council was a meaningful opportunity to unite the will of the entire education community to create an integrity-driven education environment in Busan,” and added, “Taking this meeting as a starting point, our office will take the lead in building an integrity-driven Busan education system that everyone can trust, together with the union.”
