UK Defense Secretary: Supporting Israel in Response to Iran's Missile Attacks
Defense Secretary John Healy "Full Support for Israel's Right to Self-Defense"
British forces supported Israel in response to Iran's missile attacks on Israel, British media reported on the 2nd (local time).
John Healey, the UK Secretary of State for Defence, condemned Iran's attacks on Israel in a statement that day and said British forces played a role in preventing further escalation.

However, Healey did not disclose details about the specific role played by British forces.
The Guardian interpreted this as suggesting that British forces were involved in intercepting Iran's missile attacks on Israel, and the BBC reported that, similar to the Iranian attacks in mid-April, British fighter jets were understood to have been involved this time as well.
Earlier, when Iran launched its first missile and drone strike on Israeli territory on April 13 in retaliation for the bombing of its consulate in Syria, British fighter jets shot down an Iranian drone.
