Discussion Resumes After 8 Months Since February Meeting
Since his inauguration, Minister of Employment and Labor Kim Moon-soo has emphasized communication in resolving labor issues, drawing attention to the meeting of labor, management, and government representatives held on the 4th.

View original imageMinister Kim, Kim Dong-myung, Chairman of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions, Sohn Kyung-shik, Chairman of the Korea Employers Federation, and Kwon Ki-seop, Chairman of the Economic, Social and Labor Council (ESLC), attended the four-party representatives meeting held on the morning of the 4th at the ESLC in Jongno-gu, Seoul.
This meeting is the first in about eight months since their last gathering in February. Previously, the labor, management, and government representatives attended the 13th ESLC plenary session in February and held face-to-face discussions.
Minister Kim expressed his expectations for the four-party representatives meeting during a press briefing held at the Government Complex Sejong the day before.

At the briefing, Minister Kim explained that when labor, management, and government meet, misunderstandings can be reduced, stating, "When we meet and talk, everyone can win together, coexistence is possible, and this is a fundamental principle of democracy."
