hy, 'CareOn Joint Total Care' Surpasses 1 Million Bottles in 4 Weeks After Launch
Over 90% of New Customers Are Middle-Aged and Older Adults
hy announced on the 30th that its 'CareOn Joint Total Care,' launched last month, surpassed 1 million units in cumulative sales within just four weeks of release.
hy explained that the increased interest in joint health due to aging drove the sales. In fact, an analysis of new customer data showed that customers aged 50 and above accounted for 66%, followed by those in their 40s at 15.4%.
hy also cited the product's multifunctionality as another popular factor. The key ingredient of Joint Total Care is the proprietary material ‘Chamnarichuextract powder,’ which hy’s research team proved to significantly improve joint function after nine years of research. Earlier this year, it received individual recognition from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety as an ingredient that "may help joint health."
The new product contains two patented probiotics (HY7801, HY7715). It guarantees 10 billion CFU per bottle and has been recognized for its functionalities related to gut health as well as patents related to joints and muscles. It also includes ‘N-acetylglucosamine,’ a component of joints and cartilage, along with calcium and vitamin D3, and features a low-sugar formulation to reduce concerns about sugar intake.

Since its launch, the number of customers using the subscription service has steadily increased. In September alone, about 26,000 customers subscribed to the service, and the Fresh Manager subscription service allows consumers to conveniently maintain joint and gut health with just one bottle a day, which has garnered positive consumer response. Choi Young-taek, head of hy’s Dairy CM team, said, “Joint Total Care is a product that consolidates over 50 years of hy’s accumulated research and technology,” adding, “We will continue to strive to provide differentiated experiences to consumers.”
