Significant Improvement Expected in Convenience for Residents Finding Sales Locations
Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) has introduced a 'Pay-As-You-Throw Bag Store Map Search' service to enhance the convenience of residents' daily lives.
Currently, Gwangjin-gu sells pay-as-you-throw bags at 476 locations, including large retailers and small marts. Until now, only basic information such as store names and addresses was provided, requiring residents who wished to purchase bags to check the list of stores one by one. Residents needing special bags with limited availability had to visit multiple stores to check stock in person, causing inconvenience.
In response, the district recently introduced a map search service to make it easier for many residents to find pay-as-you-throw bag stores and has officially started its operation.
The map contains practical information that allows consumers to conveniently purchase pay-as-you-throw bags, including ▲ detailed address ▲ phone number ▲ types of bags sold and stock status for each store.
In particular, the service provides real-time information on stores near the user's current location, enabling easy confirmation of nearby store locations and purchase availability via mobile phone.
Residents who need the pay-as-you-throw bag store map can access it anytime and anywhere through a QR code on the Gwangjin-gu Office website.
Kim Kyung-ho, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, said, "We expect the convenience for residents searching for pay-as-you-throw bag stores to greatly improve through the map search service," and added, "Going forward, Gwangjin-gu will actively discover customized living policies that residents can feel."
Gwangjin-gu plans to regularly update store information, discover various information needed by residents, and expand the operation of the pay-as-you-throw bag store map search service.
