Pasu Participates in 'IndoSec 2024' ... Presents Data Security Strategy
Fasoo participated in the cybersecurity event ‘IndoSec 2024’ held at the Jakarta Convention Center in Indonesia. At the event, Fasoo showcased data management and security solutions that address the challenges companies face in the data security environment.
As global privacy regulations are being strengthened, the importance of data security is increasing in Indonesia as well, with the enforcement of the Personal Data Protection Law (PDP Law). With the compliance deadline approaching in October this year, companies are required to prepare thoroughly to meet these regulations.
Frequent personal data breaches pose significant risks to companies, especially when financial information or sensitive personal data is involved, resulting in more severe damage. As the need for solutions that allow companies to thoroughly protect and continuously manage data grows, Fasoo presented its solutions.
Fasoo introduced its representative data security solution, ‘Fasoo Enterprise DRM (FED),’ and the data backup solution ‘FC-BR (Fasoo Content Backup and Recover),’ attracting attention from IT leaders of major public institutions and private companies in Southeast Asia.
FED automatically applies encryption from the moment data is created and maintains continuous encryption in all situations where documents are managed, enabling data-centric security. It protects data across various document formats such as general documents, PDFs, CAD files, and images, and restricts viewing, editing, printing, etc., according to set permissions, satisfying stringent security requirements.
FC-BR provides simple backup and recovery functions to protect critical data from threats like ransomware while enabling rapid response to insider threats. When used together with FED, it effectively prepares against data security risks and data loss, receiving strong positive feedback from attendees.
At IndoSec 2024, Fasoo emphasized the DSPM (Data Security Posture Management) strategy. DSPM is a security strategy that maintains consistent data protection even in distributed cloud environments by monitoring and controlling data location, flow, and access rights in real time, thereby enhancing corporate security levels. Amid trends of data localization and regulatory strengthening, DSPM is becoming an essential element for companies to protect and manage data.
