View original imageFor this September Safe Workplace Day campaign, staff from the Busan Regional Headquarters of the agency linked the campaign with the on-site inspection day, carrying out safety inspections at construction sites in Geumjeong-gu, a campaign to attach hazard warning signs, and the "Four Prohibitions" campaign.
The four prohibitions are: ▲Prohibition of disabling safety devices ▲Prohibition of operating unfamiliar machinery ▲Prohibition of working without personal protective equipment ▲Prohibition of servicing operating machinery.
Activities included: ①Chanting of safety messages and a street march ②Distribution of banners, OPS, and safety stickers ③Implementation of the Four Prohibitions campaign and the hazard warning sign attachment campaign.
The on-site inspection focused on: ①Roofing works, which increase during the autumn season, and ②The 12 major causes of fatal accidents based on risk assessment.
The 12 major causes of fatal accidents are: edges and openings, steel frames, roofs, scaffolding, ladders, mobile scaffolding, suspended scaffolding, formwork and supports, excavators, aerial work platforms, trucks, and mobile cranes.
