11st Opens Family Payment Service... Parents Pay When Children Order
When Selecting Family Payment, the Representative Pays on Behalf
Over 1,000 People Joined Family Payment in the First Week of Opening
11st announced on the 19th that it has launched the 'Family Payment' service, where a representative pays on behalf of members when they order products.
The Family Payment service was introduced to enhance payment convenience for teenage customers who have difficulty with credit card payments, college students who may feel burdened by high-priced products, and elderly people who are not familiar with online payment processes, according to 11st.
One 'family' for this service consists of a representative (1 person) responsible for payment and members (up to 4 people), combining up to 5 people in total. It can be freely composed not only of family members but also friends, lovers, etc., among 11st verified individual members.
When a family member selects Family Payment at the product payment stage, a product payment link is sent to the family representative via KakaoTalk notification talk, etc. Then, the family representative confirms the product and purchase amount through the link and pays on behalf using 11Pay. The payment deadline is until midnight of the day after the order.
When using Family Payment, 11Pay points earned from product payment are credited to the family representative, and product review benefits are provided to the family member who received the product delivery. Opening a family, inviting or withdrawing members can be done on the Family Payment page within 'My 11st'.
According to 11st, nearly 1,000 customers combined their respective families during the first week of the Family Payment service launch, from the 2nd to the 8th.
