Around 120 participants, including members from more than 20 civic organizations and public officials, joined the campaign in the downtown area, including Yangsan Station.
The "Clean Yangsan Clean Day" campaign was held with the participation of about 120 people, including civil society organizations and public officials.

It focused on areas with expected high foot traffic, such as Yangsan Station, Yangsan Health Center, and nearby shopping districts, where participants collected litter such as discarded cigarette butts, tissues, and plastic bags. The campaign also promoted proper waste separation and disposal methods and encouraged reducing the use of disposable products.
In particular, Yangsan City linked this campaign with the independently conducted ‘National Land Cleanup Campaign’ at local administrative welfare centers. Before the Chuseok holiday, the city collected illegally dumped household waste in vulnerable areas throughout Yangsan and improved the urban environment, so that citizens could enjoy a clean and pleasant holiday.
Mayor Na Dongyeon stated, “Thanks to the participation of many citizens, we were able to clean up the neglected household waste before the Chuseok holiday. I hope that visitors to our city can spend the holiday with their families in a pleasant environment, and I encourage everyone to join in reducing the use of disposable products for the sake of the environment.”
