In Gumi, North Gyeongsang Province, on the 13th, a group called the 'Gumi City One Team,' consisting of over 30 people including Mayor Kim Jangho, National Assembly members Koo Jagun and Kang Myeonggu, Gumi City Council Chairman Park Gyosang, as well as provincial and city council members, visited hospitals, transportation companies, the police station, and the fire station that were on emergency duty during the Chuseok holiday to encourage the staff.
This visit was conducted in a joint format for the first time, unlike previous years, to minimize inconvenience for the institutions.
For their first stop, the Gumi City One Team visited Gumi CHA Hospital, a regional emergency medical center, to express gratitude to the medical staff dedicated to emergency care and requested thorough measures to prevent any medical service gaps during the holiday period.
They then visited Gumi Bus, Ilsun Transportation, and the Gumi branch of the Private Taxi Association, asking them to provide convenient transportation for citizens and returning visitors. Lastly, they visited the Gumi Police Station and Gumi Fire Station, urging them to strengthen preventive activities during the holiday, maintain emergency contact systems, and ensure thorough disaster response.
Mayor Kim Jangho said, "Gumi City is taking care of even the smallest details so that both citizens and returning visitors can enjoy a safe and comfortable holiday," and added, "We will continue to address local issues as the Gumi City One Team together with local National Assembly members and city and provincial council members."
