Hwaseong-si Conducts Free Safety Inspections for Socially Vulnerable Vehicle Owners
On the 29th at Hwaseong Sports Complex Parking Lot
Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province will hold a 'Free Safety Inspection for Socially Vulnerable Vehicle Owners' event on the 29th at the Hwaseong Sports Complex P7 parking lot.
Since 2005, this annual event has been organized to improve the welfare of transportation-disadvantaged residents and to establish a safe traffic culture. It is hosted by the Hwaseong branch of the Gyeonggi Province Automobile Professional Maintenance Business Association (KAPOS) and supported by Hwaseong City and the Hwaseong Volunteer Center.
The inspection targets include registered disabled persons in the area, volunteers with more than 100 hours of service, national merit recipients, and vehicles from social welfare facilities. On the day of the event, from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM, participants can receive inspections by bringing their disability card, ID card, volunteer card, vehicle registration certificate, etc., and registering on-site.
The inspection items include 34 categories such as ▲ free replacement of wipers, antibacterial filters, and plugs ▲ free replenishment of washer fluid, antifreeze, and engine oil ▲ checking the condition of the alternator and starter motor.
Along with vehicle inspections, the city plans to hold auxiliary events such as acupuncture therapy and a charity bazaar.
