Daishin Securities to Operate Overseas Stock Desk During Chuseok Holiday Period
Overseas Stock Trading Available Online and Offline from the 16th to 18th
Daishin Securities announced on the 12th that it will operate an overseas stock desk for trading foreign stocks from the 16th to the 18th during the Chuseok holiday period.
By using the overseas stock desk, customers can place orders for foreign stocks even during the Chuseok holiday. However, China will be closed from the 16th to the 18th due to the Mid-Autumn Festival. Hong Kong will be closed for one day on the 18th due to the Mid-Autumn Festival. Japan will be closed for one day on the 16th due to Respect for the Aged Day.
During the Chuseok holiday, the countries where foreign stock trading is possible through Daishin Securities include three countries available for online trading: the United States, Japan, and Hong Kong, as well as 13 countries where only offline trading is available.
The countries where offline trading through the overseas stock desk is possible are the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Austria, Ireland, the Netherlands, Finland, Switzerland, Vietnam, Singapore, Australia, and Canada.

Dollar exchange for trading U.S. stocks during the holiday period is available until 2 a.m. on the 14th. Foreign currency exchange for stock trading in countries other than the U.S. is available until 4 p.m. on the 13th. The Korean won order service for U.S. stocks is available even during the holiday period.
