Jeong Jang-seon, Mayor of Pyeongtaek, Visits Social Welfare Facilities Ahead of Chuseok
Jeong Jang-seon, Mayor of Pyeongtaek City, Gyeonggi Province, announced that he plans to visit three social welfare facilities in the area, including Seongyuk Childcare Center, by the 12th to listen to the difficulties faced by facility workers and users and to offer encouragement in celebration of Chuseok.

The city provides consolation money every year before the holidays using its own budget and private donations. This Chuseok, 10,874 low-income households will receive 30,000 KRW per household, and 4,425 national merit recipients will receive 50,000 KRW each. Additionally, 127 welfare facilities will be supported with consolation money or gifts.
Mayor Jeong said, "I am always grateful to the social welfare facility workers who strive for the welfare of Pyeongtaek City," adding, "We will continue to do our best so that all citizens can have a prosperous and happy holiday."
