Fire at Apartment in Jinhae-gu, Changwon Causes Property Damage Worth 45 Million Won
A fire broke out in an apartment in Jinhae-gu, Changwon-si, Gyeongnam.

At around 4:42 p.m. on the 6th, a fire broke out on the 11th floor of an apartment building in Jinhae-gu, Changwon-si, Gyeongnam.
According to the Changwon Fire Department, the fire destroyed about 42 square meters out of the total 84 square meters of the affected unit, burning household goods and causing property damage estimated at approximately 45 million won by the fire department.
Fifteen residents and others were evacuated in an emergency, but aside from two men in their 50s and 20s who suffered minor smoke inhalation, there were no other casualties.
Firefighters mobilized 56 personnel and 20 pieces of equipment, extinguishing the fire completely by around 5:09 p.m. that day.
As smoke and flames poured out of the windows of the affected unit, 67 reports were received.
The police and fire authorities plan to investigate the exact cause of the fire.
