Support for Youth Settlement and Startups to Revitalize Regional Economy in the Local Era
Gyeongbuk Technopark held the 3rd Youth Startup Bootcamp on the 29th at the Yeongcheon Green Enterprise Support Center, with 40 participants including guests related to the Kumho Iutsachon Village Development Project and young startup representatives.

The 'Kumho Iutsachon Village Development Project' has been focusing on five core vitality areas in the Geumho-eup area of Yeongcheon City since 2022 to address local extinction and population imbalance: ▲ Job creation ▲ Housing establishment ▲ Improvement of living conditions ▲ Community revitalization ▲ Youth inflow projects.
As part of the job creation sector, the youth startup and business relocation support project has recruited young (prospective) entrepreneurs every year, selecting a total of 41 companies by this year to help them settle stably in the Kumho area, and plans to continue this support in 2025.
Ha Inseong, President of Gyeongbuk Technopark, said, “We will spare no effort to provide comprehensive support in various ways to establish the foundation needed for startup activities so that the young entrepreneurs gathered in Kumho Iutsachon Village can achieve harmony in diversity (hwaibudong) and pursue colorful career paths (dachaijinro).”
