Gwangju Shinsegae Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Dong-hoon) is launching the main sales of Chuseok gift sets as the holiday approaches in about two weeks. In addition to the popular fruit and livestock & seafood gift sets that customers often seek during the holiday, the selection has been expanded to include health functional foods and miscellaneous goods.
Gwangju Shinsegae will begin the main sales of Chuseok gift sets from August 30 to September 15. This year’s Chuseok gift sets include best-selling holiday items such as fruits and livestock products, as well as specially selected Changpyeong Hangwa (traditional Korean sweets) from Gwangju Shinsegae.
Representative products recommended by Gwangju Shinsegae include fruit sets containing Naju pears and Korean beef gift sets.
The fruit sets, which Gwangju Shinsegae’s fruit buyers thoroughly manage from cultivation to distribution and sales in collaboration with producers, include apples, pears, Shine Muscat grapes, and are available in the price range of 100,000 to 150,000 KRW. The fruit sets contain Naju pears and apples from Jangsu, Jeonbuk, and are expected to be popular among customers who prefer products produced in Jeollanam-do and Jeollabuk-do provinces.
Recently, gift sets of alcoholic beverages such as whiskey and wine, which have seen increased customer demand, have also been prepared.
