BNK Financial Group to Provide KRW 1.6 Trillion in Special Chuseok Funds for Local SMEs and Small Business Owners
September 2 to September 30, BNK Busan Bank and BNK Gyeongnam Bank Each Offer 800 Billion Won
Up to 3 Billion Won per Company, Maximum 1% Interest Rate Reduction to Ease Financial Burden
BNK Financial Group (Chairman Bin Daein) will provide special funding totaling 1.6 trillion KRW to support local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and small business owners ahead of the Chuseok holiday.
BNK Financial Group's Busan Bank and Kyongnam Bank will offer the 'BNK 2024 Chuseok Special Loan' for one month, from September 2 to September 30.
This special loan program is designed to alleviate temporary funding difficulties faced by local SMEs and small business owners before and after Chuseok, and to contribute to revitalizing the local economy. Both BNK Busan Bank and BNK Kyongnam Bank will each provide 800 billion KRW (400 billion KRW in new loans and 400 billion KRW in loan extensions), totaling 1.6 trillion KRW in funding.
Eligible recipients include local startups, long-term partner SMEs, livelihood-based small business owners, local job-creating companies, technology-competitive enterprises, and SMEs engaged in local government strategic industries. The maximum loan amount per company is 3 billion KRW, and up to a 1 percentage point interest rate reduction is available to ease financial burdens.
