Busan Urban Corporation Announces Open Recruitment for New Auditor
Applications accepted until 5 p.m. on September 12
Busan Metropolitan City Corporation (BMC, President Kim Yonghak) announced on the 28th that it will be recruiting a new auditor to succeed the current standing auditor whose term expires on October 14.
The Executive Recommendation Committee (ERC) of Busan Metropolitan City Corporation published a public notice for the recruitment of a new auditor on the 28th. The term of office is three years, and compensation will be provided according to an annual salary contract.
The ERC set the following qualifications: ▲ Integrity and ethical awareness as a public official, along with a strong sense of responsibility ▲ Ability to design and implement audit strategies for organizational management and operations ▲ High level of understanding of public sector work such as urban development, construction, and real estate ▲ Capability to lead change and innovation by analyzing management conditions and presenting alternatives.
The application period is open until 5:00 p.m. on September 12.
The selection process for the new auditor consists of three stages: public recruitment of candidates, review and recommendation by the ERC, and appointment by the Busan Metropolitan City government.

The ERC will recommend at least twice the number of candidates to be selected to the Busan Metropolitan City government after document screening and, if necessary, interviews. Subsequently, Mayor Park Hyungjoon of Busan will select one candidate from among them for final appointment.
