The attendees confirmed a total of 110 projects and a budget of approximately 3 billion KRW across three categories: city policy projects, district policy projects, and town/village community safety projects.
Previously, the city has been implementing 145 participatory budget projects selected last year throughout the entire city and is in the process of completing them.
For next year's budget project selection, 381 resident-proposed projects were received from March to May, and through reviews by the relevant departments and deliberations by the participatory budget organization, the projects for the general assembly were determined.
The city announced that the projects finalized by the committee's decision today mainly focus on practical projects that can enhance citizen convenience.
The selected project budgets will be finally confirmed through the city council's budget review, and all processes of the participatory budgeting system can be checked on the city's website.
