View original imageA fire broke out at a liquor factory in Sangpyeong-dong, Jinju, South Gyeongsang Province, at 1:41 p.m. on the 26th.
According to the South Gyeongsang Fire Department, a male employee in his 60s who was working at the site suffered burns on his back and was transported to the hospital.
The remaining five employees in the factory evacuated on their own.
After receiving a 119 emergency call from a worker who saw the smoke, the fire authorities dispatched 78 personnel and 26 pieces of equipment, extinguishing the fire completely by 2:46 p.m.
The police and fire authorities are investigating the exact cause of the fire and the extent of the damage.
