Changwon Facilities Corporation and Korea Facilities Safety Association Conduct Safety Inspection at Municipal Sangbok Park
Changwon Facilities Corporation in Gyeongnam announced on the 26th that it conducted a joint safety inspection of the Municipal Sangbok Park together with the Korea Facilities Safety Association to provide citizens with a safer facility environment.
Six experts from the Korea Facilities Safety Association participated in this safety inspection, forming a joint inspection team with the corporation's safety team. They inspected the safety conditions of the columbarium, crematorium, and retaining walls within Sangbok Park, which is expected to be visited by many mourners during the upcoming Chuseok holiday.
The main inspection items included deformation and cracks in buildings, corrosion, aging, differential settlement, and water leakage. The Korea Facilities Safety Association also shared their know-how on facility safety and maintenance management.
Chairman Kim Jonghae stated, "We will actively incorporate the expertise of professional safety management organizations so that citizens can continue to use our facilities more safely in the future."
Meanwhile, the corporation signed a business agreement with the Korea Facilities Safety Association last February and has been striving to improve the safety management capabilities of its workplaces by sharing know-how on facility and safety management.
