A Clear Overview of Jeonbuk's Budget... Easy-to-Understand Financial Statements Published
Establishment of a Resident Opinion Collection Corner on Settlement 'Policy Reflection'
Jeonbuk Province will release the simplified booklet "2023 Fiscal Year Easy-to-Understand Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Settlement" on the 26th, following last year, designed so that any resident can easily understand it at a glance.
According to the province, this settlement booklet was created with the goal of providing settlement information tailored to the residents' perspective. It is characterized by organizing the complex and extensive settlement report so that anyone can easily understand it at a glance. Difficult accounting terms were replaced with familiar expressions, and instead of listing numbers in a rigid settlement report, charts and graphics were utilized.

During the 2023 fiscal year settlement process, the province appointed and operated a settlement specialist. Efforts were made to systematically manage recurring settlement issues each year, such as minimizing unused funds, by strengthening financial management expertise.
The province also established a "Settlement-Related Feedback" section on the provincial government website to allow residents to directly provide their opinions on the settlement. Residents can freely submit opinions, questions, and suggestions for improvement related to the settlement through this section. The province plans to actively reflect these in future financial operations.
This settlement booklet is freely accessible to any interested resident. It will be available for viewing on the Jeonbuk Provincial Government website starting from the 26th. It is scheduled to be placed in public libraries and government civil service offices throughout the province until the end of August.
