Continental Korea Appoints Kang Dong-yoon as New CEO
Continental Korea announced on the 26th that it has appointed Kang Dong-yoon, Vice President and Head of Asia for Continental Automotive UX Division, as the new CEO and President. He will assume office on the 1st of next month.
CEO Kang began his career in 2008 as a product development engineer at Continental Tire's headquarters in Germany. In 2016, he was promoted to Director General of Tire Mobility Kits and Global Sales at Continental Tire OE Division and worked as an expatriate in Japan. In 2018, he oversaw OEM sales for the Americas region as well as Korea and Japan while based in the United States.

He also served as Senior Executive Director in charge of Global Product Planning and Regulatory Certification at Continental Tire's Marketing Headquarters in Germany. In February of this year, he was appointed Vice President and Head of Asia for Continental Automotive UX Division, and starting from the 1st of next month, he will concurrently serve as President of Continental Korea.
