Korea Housing Finance Corporation Supports Postnatal Care for Vulnerable Mothers in Busan
Launch of 'HF-I Care Project' to Overcome Low Birth Rate
Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, President Choi Junwoo) announced on the 22nd that it has delivered a donation to ChildFund Korea (Chairman Hwang Younggi) for the 'HF-I Care Project', which assists vulnerable mothers in Busan by providing postpartum care and related support through home visits.
This project is part of HF's social contribution activities, aimed at supporting postpartum care services for mothers from vulnerable groups in response to the low birth rate crisis.
The beneficiaries include a total of 30 households selected by ChildFund Korea, such as low-income families, families with disabilities, multicultural families, and single mothers. Postpartum caregivers from the Busan Care Medical Welfare Social Cooperative (Chairman Ahn Hyekyung) will visit the mothers' homes to provide postpartum care and deliver kits containing baby and childcare products.

An HF official stated, "We launched this social contribution activity in collaboration with child welfare organizations and social enterprises to support vulnerable groups in the region and help overcome the low birth rate," adding, "HF will continue its efforts to create a comfortable environment for childbirth and childcare."
