Yeongyang County in North Gyeongsang Province is participating in the '2024 Premium Daegu-Gyeongbuk Expo' held at Daegu EXCO, promoting the county's diverse attractions, cuisine, and activities under the theme 'We Are Waiting for You. Yeongyang Birch Forest.'
During the three-day expo, Yeongyang County is focusing on promoting the Yeongyang Birch Forest, the largest of its kind in Korea, and is also running hands-on programs for children such as making wooden insects and horizontal dragonflies. In addition, the county is promoting the '2024 Yeongyang Gochu H.O.T Festival,' which will be held at Seoul Plaza from August 29 to 31.
Alongside this, the county is exhibiting its representative local agricultural specialties, including Yeongyang red pepper powder, Eunhasu Makgeolli, and Cho Hwaju. Detailed information about Yeongyang County's population policy projects is also being provided to booth visitors.
County Governor Oh Dochang said, “I am delighted to widely promote Yeongyang County, which is emerging as a mecca for healing and eco-tourism, through this expo. We will continue to actively discover new and unique projects for Yeongyang and move forward with ever-evolving and developing county administration.”
