Former Daegu District Prosecutor Park Yun-hae Keeps Promise by Donating 100 Million Won Scholarship to Alma Mater Gimcheon High School
On the 20th, Park Yoon-hae, former Daegu District Prosecutor General (representative lawyer of Baeksong Law Firm), took a commemorative photo after completing the delivery ceremony of a 100 million won scholarship certificate at his alma mater, Gyeongbuk Gimcheon High School.

On the 21st, Baeksong Law Firm announced that Park fulfilled his promise of 100 million KRW by donating 10 million KRW to Gimcheon High School the day before.
Since starting as a rookie prosecutor in 1998, Park began providing scholarships to his alma mater Gimcheon High School, donating 20 million KRW during his tenure as a prosecutor. After opening his law practice in 2019, he pledged 100 million KRW in scholarships. Up until the day before, he had donated a total of 80 million KRW, completing the full 100 million KRW scholarship donation.
He graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in law and also donated a total of 20 million KRW in development funds to Soongsil University, where he completed his master's and doctoral courses, with 10 million KRW each in 2020 and 2022.
Additionally, Park donated 5 million KRW in 2020 for the construction fund of the Senior Citizens' Center in Sangju City, and 10 million KRW in 2021 as a COVID-19 relief fund for the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions. He has also consistently shown interest in philanthropy by donating scholarships to his alma mater’s elementary and middle schools.
Park said, "Having excellent seniors during my school days was a great source of strength, and I started donating scholarships to highlight the presence of seniors, hoping it would contribute even a little to the development of my alma mater."
After serving 22 years in the prosecution, Park retired as Daegu District Prosecutor General on July 30, 2019, and founded Baeksong Law Firm in September 2019. Now celebrating its 5th anniversary, Baeksong consists of a total of 21 lawyers, including former judges and prosecutors.
Meanwhile, besides his legal work, he has been engaged in various public interest activities.
From July 2020 to June 2021, he served as a tax law advisor for the Seoul Regional Tax Office, and from October 2021 to October 2023, he was a member of the Tax Crime Investigation Deliberation Committee at the Seoul National Tax Service.

He served as the head of the advisory group for investigations at the High-ranking Officials’ Crime Investigation Office for two years from June 2021 to June 2023, and was also an advisory member of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission in 2022. Since April 2023, he has been an advisory member for investigations at the Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials and was appointed as a candidate recommendation committee member for the head of the office in November 2023. Recently, he served as the chair of the candidate recommendation committee for the Chairperson of the National Human Rights Commission.
