On the 21st, the Presidential Office held a meeting of the 'Korea-Czech Cooperation Deepening Task Force (TF)' and announced that it reviewed the preparations for President Yoon Seok-yeol's visit to the Czech Republic next month.
Co-chaired by Special Advisor for Foreign Affairs and Security Jang Ho-jin and Policy Chief Seong Tae-yoon, the meeting reviewed plans to promote mutually beneficial cooperation across various fields including finance, industry, energy, science and technology, transportation infrastructure, and education, as well as future development plans for cooperation on the Czech nuclear power plant, following the recent selection of a Korean company as the preferred negotiator for the Czech nuclear power plant construction.
Government ministries including the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Ministry of Science and ICT, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, as well as officials from the Presidential Office participated in the meeting.
