Promotional Activities to Attract Overseas Tourists
Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it participated in the 2024 Korea-Vietnam Festival held in Da Nang, Vietnam from the 15th to the 18th, conducting promotional activities to attract overseas tourists.
The Da Nang Korea-Vietnam Festival is a regional representative festival jointly hosted by Da Nang City and the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Da Nang, marking its third year this year.
In particular, this festival was held around Donghae Park in Son Tra District, Da Nang City, which is a sister city of Gurye-gun.
Gurye-gun and Son Tra District signed a sisterhood exchange agreement in January this year and have been continuing multifaceted cooperation centered on the tourism industry for mutual development of the two cities.
This visit was promoted upon the official invitation of Da Nang City and the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Da Nang, and Gurye-gun participated in the festival with the Honam Women Nongak Troupe to showcase the diverse charms of Gurye.
The Honam Women Nongak Troupe performed an exciting Nongak performance on the opening ceremony stage, receiving great responses from the audience, and the pressed flower hand fan making experience booth operated by the county attracted continuous visits from tourists fascinated by the unique artworks made of flowers.
