Hankook Tire Launches SUV-Dedicated Tires in Europe
Hankook Tire & Technology announced on the 19th that it will launch the high-end tire Dynapro HPX for sport utility vehicles (SUVs) in Europe. The company explained that this all-season product has received M+S certification, helping to provide comfortable driving in various conditions such as mud, snow, dry, or wet roads. It was launched domestically in 2022.
The tire features 3D Grip Control Sipe technology, where interlocking blocks designed in a serrated shape minimize block movement. This enhances stiffness, grip capability, and handling performance. The edges of the tire surface (tread) that contact the road have been widened to increase pattern stiffness.

An all-season compound with enhanced wear resistance has been applied, and the contact area with the ground during driving has been expanded to improve mileage performance. Additionally, the grooves are equipped with uneven protrusions to reduce resonance noise, thereby lowering noise levels, while blocks of varying sizes are appropriately arranged to reduce road shock, according to the company.
