Gyeonggi Tourism Organization Offers 30% Discount at 'Pyeonghwanuri Camping Site' in October

View original imageThe Gyeonggi Tourism Organization will sell a special discounted accommodation reservation package linked to the ‘2024 DMZ Peace Walk and Marathon’ event, held this October, and the Peace Nuri Camping Site from the 13th of this month until the 13th of next month.
This package can be selected for either 1 or 2 nights between October 5th and 7th, in connection with the Peace Walk and Marathon event. Various accommodation types are available, including auto camping, caravans, glamping, and tarp zones.
Camping site reservations can be made through the DMZ Sports website (www.2024dmzrun.co.kr). The Gyeonggi Tourism Organization offers a 30% discount on this package.
The ‘DMZ Peace Walk’ will be held on October 5th around Imjingak in Paju. Participants can walk along the Imjin River ecological trail, located in the civilian control zone, and enjoy an AR stamp tour, various performances, and experiential programs. The ‘DMZ Peace Marathon,’ divided into a half course and a 10km section, will take place on October 6th, starting from Imjingak, crossing the Unification Bridge, passing through the civilian control zone, and returning to Imjingak.
Jo Won-yong, President of the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization, said, "This DMZ sports and camping linked package was prepared to offer participants special benefits and memorable experiences. Walking and running around the DMZ area with family, lovers, and friends, followed by camping, will make for a more meaningful day than ever."
