Advisor Yoon will join Barun's Delisting Response Task Force and will be active across the financial and corporate governance sectors.
Advisor Yoon joined the Korea Exchange in 1998 and served as Head of the Listing Examination Department, Head of the Human Resources and General Affairs Department, Head of the KOSDAQ Market Department, and Specialist of the Derivatives Market Headquarters. While serving as a specialist at the Korea Exchange's Derivatives Market Headquarters, he gained diverse experience and expertise necessary for the development of the derivatives market. As Vice President of the Korea ESG Standards Institute, he played a key role in improving Korea's ESG evaluation system.
Barun has launched a Delisting Response Task Force within its Financial Economic Crime Response and Financial Regulation Team to provide tailored solutions to corporate clients facing delisting risks. The Delisting Response Task Force offers diagnosis and solutions appropriate to each stage before and after delisting decisions, including formal and substantive responses to companies facing delisting reasons and judicial responses after delisting decisions.
The task force is led by lawyer Cho Jae-bin, a former 'special prosecutor.' Lawyer Cho currently serves as a Listing Disclosure Committee member of the Korea Exchange's KOSPI Market, deciding on the delisting of companies listed on the KOSPI Market. He also serves as a member of the Financial Services Commission's Financial Development Deliberation Committee, legal advisory committee, and exemption deliberation committee.
