Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, Gives Opening Remarks at Nowon Youth Science Camp Departure
On the morning of the 6th at 7:30 AM, Oh Seung-rok, the mayor of Nowon District, gave a send-off greeting for the '2024 Nowon Youth Science Camp' in the lobby of the Nowon District Office.
The 'Nowon Youth Science Camp' will be held from August 6 to 9 at the National Youth Space Center located in Goheung, Jeollanam-do, divided into two groups of 45 participants each, for a duration of 3 nights and 4 days.
Classes at the National Youth Space Center are conducted through various experiential programs based on the laws of physics. In particular, the 'Balancing and Astronaut Training' program explores changes occurring in high-speed aircraft such as high-altitude physical changes and three-dimensional spatial illusions, and includes experiential activities like balancing to understand the sensation of weightlessness experienced in outer space. The program is targeted at students in grades 4 to 6 of elementary school.
