Sweating Profusely While Pulling a Cart in the Heat... Marine Praised as 'Top-Class' for Helping Elderly
Recently, a heartwarming story has emerged about a soldier who helped an elderly man struggling to pull a cart in the scorching heat.
On the 1st, a Facebook page called 'Delivering Messages from the Army Training Center' (Yukdaejeon) shared a photo submitted by a contributor named A. The photo showed a soldier pulling a cart loaded with scrap paper and other items.
According to A, that morning at the intersection near Bisan Bridge in Dongan-gu, Anyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, an elderly man was pulling a cart filled with boxes of scrap paper. Due to the hot weather and the heavy weight of the cart, the man was unable to move on the road. At that moment, a Marine Corps comrade passing by saw the situation and without hesitation came to safely move the elderly man's cart.
A said, "If the Marine comrade had not helped, I believe there was a high possibility that the area around Bisan Bridge would have experienced traffic congestion and other safety accidents. I hope this Marine comrade, who selflessly helps citizens even while on leave, becomes widely known."
