Actor Ryu Seung-ryong Archery Comedy... 'Amazon Hwal-myeong-su' Opens in October
Actor Ryu Seung-ryong stars in the comedy film Amazon Hwalmyungsoo, which distributor Barunson E&A announced will be released this October.
Amazon Hwalmyungsoo (directed by Kim Chang-joo) tells the story of Jinbong (Ryu Seung-ryong), a former national archery athlete, who meets Bbangsik (Jin Seon-kyu), a Korean-Toledorean interpreter, and three Amazon warriors blessed with divine archery skills. Following the 2024 Paris Olympics, where the archery team won five gold medals, public interest in archery has surged. This likely influenced the decision to release the film.
