Unclear Whether Harris Agreed with Trump's Claims
Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris, the first Black woman to run for U.S. president, and former President Donald Trump, the Republican presidential candidate, will hold a TV debate on the 4th of next month (local time), Trump announced.
On the 2nd, former President Trump announced on the social media platform Truth Social that he had agreed with Fox News to hold a TV debate with Vice President Harris.
According to former President Trump, the debate will be held in Pennsylvania. The exact location has not yet been decided. Pennsylvania is one of the battleground states that decisively influence the outcome of the U.S. presidential election, drawing attention to the impact of this debate.
The debate format will differ slightly from previous ones. Unlike the debate with President Biden, which was held without an audience, this time it is planned to be held in front of a live audience.
This presidential debate will be the second, following the first debate held with President Joe Biden on June 27. It will be the first debate between Vice President Harris, who is running as a candidate instead of President Biden, and former President Trump.
