Korea Student Aid Foundation Holds 'University Student Mentoring Leadership Concert' Online
KT Vice President Shin Sujeong and Others Give Lectures
20 Leadership Experts Gather
The Korea Student Aid Foundation (Chairman Bae Byungil) has been holding the "2024 15th Social Leader-College Student Mentoring Leadership Concert" online for a month starting from the 1st.
Launched in 2010, the Social Leader-College Student Mentoring program is a mentoring initiative where social leader mentors share their wisdom and experience in life with college student mentees.
To support the growth of college student mentees who receive mentoring at least once a month, the Korea Student Aid Foundation hosts an annual summer leadership concert for competency development.
This year's Leadership Concert features Korea's leading leadership experts, who will deliver passionate lectures. Under the themes of trust, communication, and creativity, 18 mentees will give lectures, and 2 mentors will also take the stage as speakers.
Lectures on trust will be given by Yoo Sungho, professor at Seoul National University College of Medicine, and Shin Sujeong, Vice President of KT. Kim Daeho, MBC announcer, and Lee Juho, CEO of Gowoon Sesang Cosmetic, will speak on communication, while Woo Miyoung, CEO of Adobe Korea, and Jang Dongseon, professor at Hanyang University, will lecture on creativity.
Bae Byungil, Chairman of the Korea Student Aid Foundation, stated, "We have prepared this event to support college students, the future of Korea, so they can embark on a 'journey toward their dreams with hope.' I hope that all participating college student mentees will set clear goals in life, never give up, lead by example, and grow into true leaders who trust their peers."
The 15th Social Leader-College Student Mentoring program, which officially began its activities with a launching ceremony in April this year, reaches its halfway point with this Leadership Concert in its eight-month journey. Recruitment of mentees for the Social Leader-College Student Mentoring program takes place every January to February, with 249 mentors and 1,933 mentees participating this year.
