K-Bank Raises Apartment Mortgage Loan Interest Rates by up to 0.1%P
As household loans continue to increase, internet-only banks have also raised interest rates.
According to K-Bank on the 30th, the apartment mortgage loan interest rates were raised by up to 0.1 percentage points depending on the product. This is the third rate hike. K-Bank previously raised rates on the 9th and 23rd.
KakaoBank also raised its mortgage loan interest rates by 0.1 percentage points on the 26th.
The five major banks (KB Kookmin, Shinhan, Woori, Hana) also simultaneously raised loan interest rates by around 0.2 to 0.3 percentage points this month.
KB Kookmin Bank raised its mortgage loan interest rates by 0.2 percentage points on the 29th. Shinhan Bank also raised mortgage and jeonse deposit loan rates by up to 0.3 percentage points on the same day. Woori Bank and NH Nonghyup Bank raised installment-type mortgage loan rates by 0.2 percentage points on the 24th, and Hana Bank raised mortgage loan rates by 0.2 percentage points earlier this month.

The reason banks are raising loan interest rates is due to the continued increase in household loans. As of the 25th, the outstanding household loan balance of the five major banks was 713.3072 trillion won, an increase of 4.7349 trillion won compared to the end of June (708.5723 trillion won).
