Gukddeok Cupbokki Enters GS25 Convenience Stores... "Accelerating Distribution Channel Diversification"
EyesVision's wholly-owned subsidiary, EN Creative's 'Nostalgic Elementary School Tteokbokki (Gukddeok),' announced on the 30th that it has entered GS25 convenience stores following its launch at CU. The cup tteokbokki product sold out its first batch within a month of entering CU.
Gukddeok's cup tteokbokki, which faithfully reproduces the taste of the existing meal kit tteokbokki, is available in two flavors at convenience stores: 'Original Flavor' and 'Spicy Carbonara Flavor.' Made with freshly milled rice on the same day, it allows consumers to enjoy the texture of freshly made rice cakes. Notably, as of the end of 2023, Gukddeok cup tteokbokki has sold 350,000 units globally, maintaining steady popularity overseas.
A Gukddeok representative stated, "In response to changes in consumer lifestyles such as the spread of local consumption and the increase in single-person households, we have entered GS25 to make Gukddeok more easily accessible nearby. We are continuously collaborating with partners to allow many consumers domestically and internationally to experience various Gukddeok products, and we will accelerate efforts to diversify distribution channels."
