They will engage in language training and various local experiential activities in Detroit, USA, and Toronto, Canada, for three weeks until August 12.
During the training period, participants will attend language classes on weekday mornings and participate in physical activities, practical English missions, and team projects in the afternoons.
On weekends, they will also take part in museum tours, university mentoring tours at the University of Michigan and the University of Toronto, and visits to famous landmarks.
Gyeonggi Province expanded the ladder program, which was previously conducted for young adults last year, to include youth this year. The Gyeonggi Youth Ladder Project is promoted as a lottery fund project for vulnerable groups.
