Korea SMEs and Startups Agency Holds 'Vietnam Tay Ninh Province Business and Investment Seminar'
The Korea Federation of SMEs, in collaboration with Thanh Hoa Province, Vietnam, and the Embassy of Vietnam in Korea, announced that it held the 'Vietnam Thanh Hoa Province Business and Investment Seminar' on the 26th at the Federation of SMEs in Yeouido.
The seminar was conducted with sessions including strategies for entering Vietnam and Thanh Hoa Province, as well as presentations on actual investment cases by Korea Electric Power Corporation. ▲Choo Moon-gap, Head of the Economic Policy Division at the Federation of SMEs ▲Do Minh Tuan, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa Province ▲Vu Ho, Ambassador of Vietnam to Korea, along with the Thanh Hoa delegation and about 100 domestic businesspeople attended.
Thanh Hoa Province is located in the north-central region, 150 km away from Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. It is known for convenient transportation by land, sea, and air, and is the third most populous area after Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, offering access to a high-quality labor force.
In particular, the local government's proactive attraction of foreign investment and business-friendly administration have made it a region where Korean companies are actively entering.

Choo Moon-gap, Head of the Economic Policy Division at the Federation of SMEs, stated, “88.7% (about 7,500 companies) of Korean companies entering Vietnam are SMEs, and many SMEs still wish to enter this market. We will serve as a bridgehead to enable SMEs to enter various regions, including Thanh Hoa Province in Vietnam, to promote SME globalization.”
