AI Industry Convergence Project Group and Gwangju City Art Museum Sign Agreement
Expectations for Understanding Urban Issues and Seeking Creative Solutions
Citizen-experienced AI convergence art content, combining artificial intelligence (AI) technology and art on various social issues such as urban regeneration, is being created.
The AI Industry Convergence Project Group announced on the 25th that it signed a "Business Agreement for Fostering AI Industry Linked to the Arts Sector and Technology Diffusion" with the Gwangju Museum of Art on the 23rd.
The signing ceremony was attended by Kwak Jae-do, Acting Director of the AI Project Group, and Kim Jun-gi, Director of the Gwangju Museum of Art, among others.
Both organizations agreed to cooperate to revitalize cultural and artistic content and foster the AI industry and technology diffusion by integrating art and AI technology.
Specifically, they will collaborate on ▲ AI art-related projects and corporate promotion targeting citizens ▲ development and research of content combining AI and art ▲ joint promotion of AI exhibitions and other projects through cooperation between the two organizations ▲ mutual exchange and collaboration.
Through this agreement, it is expected that the two organizations will develop a new cooperation model by combining their AI technology, art content, and infrastructure, providing diverse artistic experiences and presenting a new direction for future generation education.
As the first result of this cooperation, the AI Project Group, Gwangju Museum of Art, and AI startup Caramela will present an immersive convergence content exhibition themed on urban regeneration, titled "Shining Gwangju Urban Exploration," at the Gwangju Museum of Art Children's Gallery until August 18.
"Shining Gwangju Urban Exploration" is an interactive content produced by AI startup Caramela, selected through this year’s "Urban Problem-Solving AI Solution Development and Support Project Contest" by the AI Project Group. It contains content that raises awareness of the importance of urban regeneration and proposes solutions.
The exhibition consists of various interactive experiences such as ▲ Mudeungsan Adventure ▲ Mugunghwa Flower Has Bloomed ▲ Starlight Playground ▲ Dreaming Wish Tree, designed to stimulate children’s creativity and imagination.
