Movie 'Wicked' Premieres Worldwide for the First Time on November 20
The movie 'Wicked' will have its world premiere in South Korea on November 20, two days earlier than in North America, Universal Pictures, the distributor, announced on the 25th.
'Wicked' depicts the crises and adventures faced as Elphaba, who has yet to discover her true power, and Glinda, who has yet to find her true nature, build their friendship. The cast includes Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Jonathan Bailey, Ethan Slater, and Yang Ja-kyung.

The production team created sets for key locations in the film such as Emerald City and Munchkinland. They paid attention to both large and small details, including planting 9 million real tulips on the plains. Director Jon Chu said, "We wanted to provide the audience with the best immersion experience," adding, "If you want it to feel real, you have to build it all for real." Ariana Grande, who plays 'Glinda,' said, "Most of it is an actual set," and "A world unlike anything seen before was created."
