Anseong-si Opens Applications for 'Wood Pellet Boiler Support Project'
70% Support for Boiler Prices
Anseong City in Gyeonggi Province is accepting applications for a support project to promote the distribution of eco-friendly heating devices called 'wood pellet boilers.'
'Wood pellets' are wood fuel made by crushing, drying, and compressing byproducts from forestry operations. They are known as an eco-friendly fuel with high thermal efficiency, low cost, and reduced emissions of carbon dioxide and air pollutants.
The city supports up to 70% of the distribution price of wood pellet boiler products. Those who wish to participate can prepare an application form and photos of the installation site and submit them in person to the Forestry and Greenery Division of Anseong City Hall. Details of the project and application guidelines can be found in the announcement on the Anseong City website.
