Exchange Holds 6th Value-Up Advisory Panel Meeting... "Additional Advisory Panel Members Appointed"
Appointment of Kim Hakgyun, Head of Shin Young Securities Research Center, and 3 Others
The Korea Exchange announced on the 24th that it held the 6th Corporate Value-Up Advisory Group meeting and appointed additional advisory group members.
At the meeting, they reviewed the market trends related to the Value-Up program in the first half of the year and discussed plans for promoting the Value-Up program domestically and internationally, encouraging corporate participation, discovering best practices, and other initiatives for the second half of the year.
In particular, they exchanged opinions on the development direction and progress of the 'KRX Korea Value-Up Index,' scheduled to be announced in the third quarter, to ensure it serves as a barometer for the Value-Up program.
They also discussed the criteria for selecting outstanding corporations for the Corporate Value-Up Awards, scheduled for May 2025.
Additionally, Kim Hak-gyun, Head of Research Center at Shin Young Securities, Lee Seung-woo, Head of Research Center at Eugene Investment & Securities, and Jeon Eun-jo, Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company, were newly appointed as members of the Corporate Value-Up Advisory Group.

A Korea Exchange official stated, "With this additional appointment, the advisory group has expanded to a total of 15 members," adding, "The advisory group's expertise in corporate analysis will be strengthened."
