Israel Military Shoots Canadian Threatening with a Weapon
A Canadian who attempted to wield a weapon at Israeli soldiers on site was shot dead, local media including the Times of Israel reported on the 22nd (local time).
According to local police, the Canadian stopped his car next to three sentry soldiers at the Netiv HaAsara checkpoint in the northern Gaza Strip around 11 a.m. that day, got out, shouted in English, "The Israeli army is killing civilians in Gaza," and drew a knife.
